Job Purpose: |
The Director of Financial Aid Services is responsible for managing financial aid programs in full compliance with federal and state regulations and College policies and procedures. This position is located in Sheridan, Wyoming. |

Bachelor's degree required |
Skills and Abilities: |

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Ability to get along well with others and work as an effective team member
Positive communication skills including oral, written and interpersonal |
Knowledge: |
Current knowledge of federal financial aid regulations and reporting requirements required
Integrated database systems
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) |
Experience: |
Demonstrated experience in managing daily financial aid operations and personnel
Three years' recent experience in managing college federal financial assistance programs
Experience in working with students of all ages preferred |

STUDENT FINANCIAL AID (Scholarships)

Essential Duties::
Provide administrative leadership and supervision for the scholarship
area of Student Financial Aid, adhering to University, state and federal
regulations which includes supervision of support staff, overseeing
awarding of scholarships in accordance with university guidelines and
donor trust agreements. Work closely with staff in the enrollment
management units, academic colleges and UW Foundation to administer
scholarship portfolio in support of enrollment goals. Analyze
effectiveness of scholarship programs in reaching enrollment targets
with enrollment management directors. Assist with implementation of
appropriate technology to support scholarship goals. Under the direction
of the Director, review scholarship exceptions and make decisions in
accordance with university policies and procedures.
